compassion, consistency, clarity, and kindness
"We are Jamie's biggest fans!"
I have been riding for over 20 years in multiple disciplines and have taken lessons with tons of trainers all over the world. Jamie is the first person I rode with that I felt truly cared about how me and my horse got our results, and our overall relationship together. She has taught and continues to teach me how to get results with my horse in a way that created true and lasting harmony and didn't rely on dominance or force. Instead we rely on our relationship, and the use of correct and incredibly soft subtle aids on the ground and in the saddle. Watching Jamie transform horses in front of my eyes in a single ride is incredibly inspiring to watch and has finally given me that visual for what true harmony with a horse can look like. There doesn't have to be any weight in your hands! And horses can feel something as small as a mosquito! My horses and I are her biggest fans! You couldn't ask for a kinder or more knowledgeable person to learn from!

"Jamie taught me to make a connection with my horse
and recognize the beauty in the balance of
asking and receiving"
“Jamie has changed the way I view riding and has helped me build a better relationship with my horse. I had several years off riding prior to meeting Jamie and was returning to it after a confidence knock down. This presented an interesting challenge to me as I needed a lot of support to break-down old habits and learn a new way of riding. This highlights Jamie’s particular strength which is to listen and ensure that each lesson is meaningful. She mimics the art of classical horsemanship in her lesson style –
to make a connection and recognize the beauty in the balance of asking and receiving and giving and taking.”

Hey! I'm Jamie
I am a horse mom, human mother of three, and mother to many other animals! Horses have been my lifelong passion for as long as I can remember, and I have always felt a deep desire to give back to them the gifts they have given to me. I am always yearning to deepen my partnership to horses through light and effective horsemanship that creates true and unwavering connection. Horses are my life, and a passion I love to share with others. I have competed up to I1 dressage in the FEI show competition world, trained Grand Prix horses in Portugal with world renowned dressage trainers, and have currently brought my fearful and reactive rescue paint horse from green to her first training level show in Western Dressage. Her name is Hailey and she's my whole heart, I am obsessed with her! I love barn life, just being with my horses, and bringing my youngest daughter Marley out to play with the horses and the ducks.
